Typically, royalties earned are taxed as additional income, and must be reported correctly when filing taxes. As the author it is your responsibility to find out how to correctly report any royalties you earn for income tax purposes in your country and province/state of residence. Depending on your area of residence, you may be able to claim the cost of your publishing package as an expense against any royalty income.
Tellwell does not withhold any taxes from your royalties. Also note that Tellwell does not provide any tax-specific documents relating to royalty payments, nor are we qualified to provide specific tax advice—that is best left to an accounting professional.
To view a summary of all royalties earned, log in to Octavo and click the "Royalties" tab.
To download all invoices associated with your book project, log in to Octavo click the "Purchases" tab, select the "Invoices" tab and scroll down to view or download individual invoices.
