When you purchase illustrations through Tellwell you will retain the full ownership rights of the images. While crediting your illustrator is therefore not required, we encourage all of our authors to credit their illustrator somewhere within the book, or on the book's cover. It is common practice in the publishing industry for the illustrator to be credited on the cover and the interior of the book.
