Once your book has been published, there are two main ways to get printed copies of your book in hand.
Many of our authors start off by placing a custom bulk order of books (50 or more copies) through Tellwell's print department for launches, signings and/or consignment sales through local shops.

Tellwell has a network of trusted print partners around the world that offer consistently high quality printing, and that we are proud to work with to fulfill author orders. The cost per book decreases as the quantity ordered increases.
- The print cost for your book will vary based on your book's specifications (colour, size and page count) and the quantity ordered
- The shipping cost depends on the quantity you order and the shipping address.
Note: you will not receive royalties per book when you place a print order through Tellwell, as the books will be printed by one of our trusted print partners and then shipped directly to you, with no retailer involvement.
If you've already placed a print order and have a question, you can reach our print department directly at printing@tellwell.ca
Authors also have the option to purchase their print-ready files and work directly with the printer of their choice. This option is not recommended unless the author has prior experience with printing and the pre-press process.
If you just need to order a few copies at a time, you may find that ordering your book directly from a retailer is more beneficial, because you will earn your royalties back, likely get free shipping, and boost your book’s retail sales and search rankings.
