Unlike our standard cover design service, a custom cover illustration is an original piece of artwork created by one of Tellwell's illustrators specifically for your book, based on the description you provide of your cover vision.
Custom cover illustrations are recommended for all authors with complex, unique ideas that require more than graphic design work with existing elements (ex. stock photography). In other words, you need a custom illustration if you have a highly original vision, which cannot be achieved short of an artist taking that vision and bringing it to life from scratch. Or, perhaps it's important to you to have a unique piece of artwork created for your book cover. In either of these cases our illustration services are recommended, and make for some of our best cover designs.
