Ingram makes your book available to over 39,000 retailers around the world, and it is up to the retailer to decide how to sell your book. Some of these retailers may list the book for sale through Amazon (known as “third-party retailers”), and on Amazon many retailers list items as Used when in fact they are not. Please note that it is unlikely that any actual used copies of your book will come into circulation online until long after the book has been published. Unfortunately, seeing a Used version of your book being sold does not necessarily guarantee you have had any previous sales.
