If you have any editing services included in your publishing package with us, you will need to use Microsoft Word throughout the process, and you must submit your manuscript as a single .docx file.
Our editors complete their work using the Microsoft Word Track Changes feature, which gives you as the author the ability to decide precisely which of the editor's changes you want to keep, and which to reject. This ensures that you retain full creative control of your book, one of the main benefits of self-publishing.
It will not be possible for us to offer any editing services on manuscripts that are not formatted as Microsoft Word documents.
Whether or not you have editing in your package, you must submit your final manuscript in .docx format, as this ensures maximum compatibility for your designer when they create the layout for your book. Most word processing programs will allow you to save your file in the .docx format. We do not accept manuscripts submitted in the .pages format.
Once you start the publishing process with us, be sure to carefully consult our Manuscript Submission Guidelines, which outline the finer formatting details that need to be followed when preparing your manuscript.
